With faith in the resurrection, the Catholic Diocese of Ahiara prayerfully announces the call to glory of Very Rev. Msgr Benjamin Chima, aged 85 years.
Msgr Ben Chima, as he was fondly called, was a true priest, indefatigable pastor, seasoned builder and unapologetic disciplinarian. He was a man of community and consistency, upright and pious. Monsignor was ordained on 8 April 1972, and represents an epoch of unbridled Catholicism. He will be sorely missed.
Please remember him in your prayers and masses, as well as his biological family and the entire Diocese as we all navigate through these challenging times.
May the soul of Msgr Ben Chima and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
