The Catholic Television of Nigeria (CTV) is set to launch on GOtv from Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025, marking a major milestone in
religious broadcasting. This migration will bring inspiring faith-based content to a wider
audience, enhancing evangelization, education, and entertainment.
With clearer broadcasts and greater accessibility, CTV is poised to become a leading voice in Catholic media across Nigeria.
Speaking on this groundbreaking expansion, CTV Programmes Director, Rev. Fr. Victor Ogunyemi, emphasized the station’s commitment to making a significant impact: “CTV is coming into the platform to make a huge difference. With quality programmes to educate and inform our viewers, not to talk of entertainment packages.
“We’re coming on board to redefine Catholic cum religious media enterprise with what will make our viewers satisfied.
“We shall live out our slogan: CTV… The station that inspires hope,” he boasted.
