MSGR PROF JOSEPH OLADEJO FANIRAN IS 70
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the Catholic Institute of West Africa Port Harcourt clocks 70 years in the land of the living.
All drums are being rolled out in honour of the Modakeke, Osun state born academic authority to thank God for the attainment of an age in life recognised by the scripture.
The professor of Pastoral Communication was ordained a Catholic Priest on 27 December 1976 for the Catholic Diocese of Oyo by Bishop Julius Adelakun,the emeritus Bishop of Oyo Diocese.
Msgr Faniran since his ordination has served in the Pastoral apostolate and academic apostolate. He has served as the Secretary General of SECAM ASSEMBLY in Accra Ghana, a Church media expert at African Synod in the year 1994,Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria liason Priest for Catholic Charismatic Renewal. He had his seminary formation at the great Bodija, SS. Peter and Paul Major Seminary Ibadan and further studies at the eternal city of Rome and Canadian city of Ottawa.
Msgr Faniran is looking cute for his new age of 70 which he attributed to the grace of God and some form of discipline in life.
