Rev. Fr. David Okolie
Dearest friends, I am moved to make this short post because of the rate at which innocent persons are falling victim to these unfortunate *SCAMMERS/FRAUDSTERS* who have refused to work and earn their living through positive means💔
Please, when someone calls or chats you up, requesting for your bank details, BVN code, SMS code, etc., DO NOT give out such pieces of information; simply tell the person that you would walk/drive down to the bank by yourself and do the needful.
Again, be careful of what you *CLICK* on your phone. When you are not sure of any link sent to your phone, please, do not click on it🙏🏼
Also, do not reply any questionable emails or SMS that seem to be promising you this bonus or that award🙏🏼
👉🏼Finally, when I was growing up, one of the young boys we were living with fell victim to the Fraudsters. He nearly emptied the treasury of my elder brother then before eventually he regained his consciousness when he was given a *DIRTY SLAP🤣.* That was actually the first time I came to know about Fraudsters. It is now true that they come in different guise; not excluding the use of the modern technologies. However, my elder brother said something then which I have always appropriated as a *RULE* against every form of SCAM/FRAUD and the rule is this:
👉🏼 *“Any person who is NOT GREEDY would never fall victim to Fraudsters/Scammers.* Do you think that the above is true or not?
👉🏼Do not fail to educate your loved ones on this issue. If you fail to do that then, when they would fall victim, you would share in their *TEARS🤷🏽♂️*
Remain blessed🙏🏼
