The Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna will on Thursday, 28 September, 2023, witness the investiture ceremony for some Priests, Religious and Laity of the Archdiocese who recently received Papal honour and conferment as Monsignors, Papal Knights and Medalists by the Holy Father, Pope Francis.
In a document signed by the Archdiocesan Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Christian Okewu, the Holy Mass for the ceremony will be celebrated by Most Rev. Matthew Ndagoso at St. Joseph Cathedral, Kaduna.
The release further disclosed that the Holy Father conferred the Papal honour of Chaplain of his holiness on Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Abiriyi and Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kure; honour of the Knight of St. Gregory the Great on Mr. Dominic Yahaya, Mr. Anthony Iroagalachi, Mr. Joseph Iyoha and Mr. Innocent Okpe; then honour of Dame of St. Gregory the Great on Hon. Mrs Lawrentia Mallam; and the honour of the Knight of St. Sylvester the Pope on Mr. Celestine Okai, Mr. Augustine Orgah, Mr. Pat-Natson Owolabi and Mr. Patrick Tokan; “Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice” on Rev. Fr. Mark Monaghan, SMA and Rev. Sr. Rita Schwarzenberger, OP; and finally, the “Benemerenti” Medals on Mrs. Charity Ogbole, Mr. Ndadubal Kutako, Catechist Stephen Gaiya, Arc. Ososese Akhideno, Mrs. Georgina Aloysius and Mrs. Mary Danazumi.
