Bishop Matthew Kukah, known for his work with the Kukah Centre, was honored with the prestigious Mundo Negro Fraternity Award in Spain.
The award, presented in Madrid, recognizes individuals and institutions making significant contributions to Africa and the world.
Enrique Bayo Mata, director of the Spanish Magazine Mundo Negro, informed the Kukah Centre about the honor.
The award is part of an annual event where outstanding African personalities or institutions are acknowledged for their efforts towards a better African continent and world.
Atta Barkindo, executive director of the Kukah Centre, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We at the Kukah Centre are humbled by this show of appreciation for the contributions of the Founder of our Centre.”
He further emphasized the commitment to continue promoting the values represented by Bishop Kukah, in order to make the world a better place through the activities of the Kukah Centre.
