Breaking: CAMPAN Benin City Archdiocese commemorates World Photography Day

The Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) Benin City Archdiocese has joined lovers of Photography all over the world to celebrate her maiden edition of the World Photography Day…

The event which was observed in collaboration with the Edo State Professional Photographers Association as well as Photo Journalists across the Archdiocese of Benin City, should cased Photo Walk across the Metropolis/site seeing of some cultural monuments within the City Centre, Photo exhibition and tour at the National Museum Photo Gallery, as well as Photo session and more.

Meanwhile, the event which was facilitated by the CAMPAN Ag. General Secretary, Ruben Mario Brodrick, offered participants the opportunity of appreciating the importance of Photography in the mass media and social communications as members of CAMPAN were also privileged to know more about the historical background of some famous photographers in the ancient city of Benin.

This years World Photography Day which centred on the theme “Pandemic Lockdown through the Lens,” also attracted journalists from the Mainstream media houses.
