In view of the unfortunate on-going human devastation as a result of the crisis between Russian and Ukraine, Pope Francis invites Bishops and all the people of God to join him in the solemn dedication of both countries to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, the feast of the Annunciation.Through a message to the National Directorate of Social Communications at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja, the Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria, Most Rev. Antonio Filipazzi, reminds and urges Bishops and all Nigerians to join the Holy Father in this solemn consecration by 5pm Nigeria time on Friday, as requested by the Pope.A circular released by the Archbishop of Abuja, Most Rev. Ignatius Kaigama, indicates that the Nuncio will lead a prayer service (not Mass) on Friday 25 March, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral, Area 3 Garki, Abuja by 5pm. Archbishop Kaigama and his priests, religious and faithful of the Archdiocese, some eminent personalities of the diplomatic corps and some Nigerian Ministers are expected to attend the service.Ahead of this programme, an order of prayer for the Consecration has been released for use.
