Just yesterday, as I was walking towards the parish gate around 9:00pm, a young boy ran up to me and was crying ceaselessly. According to him, his father was at the verge of DEATH and that the mum sent him to go and call any priest in the parish. Immediately, I went back to the parish and took the OIL OF THE SICK and HOLY COMMUNION (VIATICUM). The above are two powerful AIDS the Church offers to a sick, aged or dying member.
Dearest friends, I really can’t believe what I saw when I drove down to the very house where the father of the young boy was. The man was almost DEAD. The wife managed to force a spoon into his mouth, to prevent the teeth from closing up. Foam and blood were dropping out from the mouth. He was breathing forcefully. The eyes were already closing and no longer show any sign of survival. Of course, he was not talking too. The wife and children were crying and praying, together with two other neighbours of theirs. I was really emotional but needed to act immediately.
I anointed him with the OIL OF THE SICK and administered the VIATICUM. I continued to pray that God should consider the heartfelt cries of the family members and restore him back to life. At a point, it was almost clear that he would not make it and I started committing his SOUL into the hands of God. Guess what happened next?…
My dearest friends, it was like a serious SPIRITUAL BATTLE. All of a sudden, I started feeling dizzy and the whole room appeared quite dark and immediately, I put my hands in my pocket and brought out my *HOLY ROSARY* and started calling on OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP. Before too long, the whole thing cleared and there was calmness all over the place. We continued praying until around 11:00pm. When eventually I was about leaving and then blessing them, the man responded, AMEN. Wow! It was clear to me that he has come back to life and then I left with JOY. I had equally asked about him this morning and I was told that he is feeling better and was sleeping.
๐๐ผDearest Catholics, do you have the phone numbers of the priests working in your parish? If no, please, try and get their phone numbers before the end of this week. Many SOULS have been LOST because of the above. Whenever a family member is CRITICALLY ILL, whether at home or in the hospital, please contact the priest immediately. The ANOINTING OF THE SICK is a Sacrament that HEALS the SICK and SAVES the SOUL; when God wishes that the person should not return to life. Just take a look at what the Church teaches about the above Sacrament:
Only priests (bishops and presbyters) are ministers of the ANOINTING of the SICK. It is the duty of pastors to INSTRUCT the faithful on the benefits of this sacrament. The faithful should encourage the sick to call for a priest to receive this sacrament (Cf. CCC, n. 1516).
It is also good that we understand that this Sacrament is not the same thing with keeping and using blessed GOYA oil (a.k.a Olive Oil) or any other oil by any other oil. Also know it that this Sacrament makes use of the oil blessed only on HOLY THURSDAYS by the bishop of a Diocese, together with the entire priests and can be received more than once (as long as the sickness or old age lasts). This special oil is called: โOLEUM INFIRMORUM.’
