Rev. Fr. David Okolie

1. He is the Patron Saint of Catechists,

2. He was an Archbishop of Milan,

3. As an Archbishop, sometimes, he sat by the roadside to instruct (catechize) children,

4. He was one of the leading figures in the drafting of the Roman Catechism (a.k.a: The Catechism of the Council of Trent),

5. He was the Founder of the *Confraternity of Christian Doctrine;* a group that prepares children for the reception of the Sacraments all over the world,

6. He founded Seminaries,

7. He died at the age of 46 and his feast day is November 4?

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผAs we celebrate this great shepherd and catechist today, I wish all the catechists out there a happy feast day! May his zeal be ours. Amen๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ *May we all (priests, parents, teachers, etc.) find joy in teaching about the Catholic faith to those around us and to others.*

Remain blessed๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
