Four years ago, Notre Dame University brought four Chibok girls to study here. They graduated yesterday. Notre Dame flew their parents from Nigeria to attend the graduation ceremony. During the four years, Notre Dame accompanied their families, built houses for them and relocated them from their destroyed villages to the city. The girls excelled in their studies. One will continue her graduate studies in Havard. The second will go to Boston College while the two others will go to Berkley. What a transformation! The fragile candles we light in the darkness always make a difference.
