๐ญJust Yesterday, thieves broke into St Andrews Parish: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and attacked the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle, and left it strewn across the road and in bushes. Let us offer a prayer in reparation together with the Catholics of Bulawayo.
๐ญThe Parish Priest Now reported:
“I am sorry to announce that robbers broke into the Parish House, Parish Hall and Parish Church and stole several items in all our three buildings.
Unfortunately, they also broke into the parish Church and stole the Mostrances, Chalices, Mass Kit, Ciboriums containing the Blessed Sacrament and broke down the tabernacle. I have since managed to pick up the Blessed Sacrament which they disposed of in many places in the bush and by the roadside.
๐ญThis act renders our Church Grounds desecrated and will need to be consecrated again by the Archbishop.”
