There is a picture that has been trending with the following caption/story:
“This is Reverend Father Michael Ogochukwu ezeh from Enugu state And Reverend Sister Claire Chioma O. from Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi State who have found love in themselves and have subsequently made marital preparations to Walk down the aisle on the 26th October 2024 at the ST PHILLIP CATHOLIC CHURCH portharcourt.”

“Love is beautiful ❤️❤️”
I have taken time and pains to do my research on the matter since yesterday when the story started trending and have discovered, as expected, that it is false, and that there is no iota of truth in it whatsoever.
FACTS Discovered:
1. The picture used to trend the falsehood is one of the pre-wedding pictures of Mr Samuel Eyo and his beautiful wife, Mrs Abasifreke Samuel of the Brotherhood and Cross Star (BCS) church popularly known as Olumba Olumba church.
2. The picture was taken while they were in their white garments, a garb that is associated with the BCS
3. While Mr Samuel Eyo was the imaginary and non-existent Revd Fr Michael Ogochukwu Ezeh, his wife, Mrs Abasifreke Samuel was the imaginary and non-existent Revd Sister Claire Chioma O.
4. While the non-existent Revd Fr Michael Ogochukwu Ezeh was falsely reported to have hailed from Enugu State, Mr Samuel Eyo who is the real person in the picture actually hails from Ndon Itie Udung in Nsit Atai LGA of Akwa Ibom State just as his wife, Mrs Abasifreke Samuel who was falsely reported to hail from Afikpo North LGA in Ebonyi State, actually hails from Nung Udo Etok Ndinya Mfia in Ikono LGA of the same Akwa Ibom State as the husband.
5. While the false and malicious viral story claimed that the said “Revd Fr Michael Ogochukwu Ezeh” and “Revd Sister Claire Chioma O” would “walk down the aisle on the 26th of October, 2024 at the St Phillip Catholic Church, Port Harcourt,” Mr Samuel Eyo and Mrs Abasifreke Samuel actually got married on Sunday, the 6th of August 2023 at Brotherhood and Cross Star (BCS) 4 Towns, Abak Rd, Uyo
5. Contrary to the claims that “Revd Fr Michael O. Ezeh” is a priest of the Catholic Church, he is actually a Bishop of the BCS, so ordained in November 2023, after his wedding in August of the same year.
VERDICT
6. Based on the foregoing, and attached images, the viral story is confirmed to be false, conceived out of malice, to deceive and mislead unsuspecting members of the public, and shared by mischief makers who have proven themselves to be willing harbingers of falsehood against the Catholic Church.
CONCLUSION
Those who are in the habit of authoring and sharing such falsehood against the Catholic Church should check themselves because to continue in that habit is to form themselves as gates of hell against the Church, and our Lord Jesus Christ says, they shall never prevail, and surely, there are natural and supernatural consequences for such actions.
