The Holy Childhood Association National day comes up on Sunday, 28th January 2024. It is usually celebrated in Nigeria on every last Sunday of January.
it is a day set aside to celebrate all children and acknowledge their missionary roles in the Church. Children are reminded that they are Missionaries and need to make friends for Jesus by sharing the faith with other children. On a day like this, the children offer special prayers for children all over the world and raise funds to support needy children.
The funds raised are sent to universal solidarity funds of the Holy Childhood for supporting children in Mission territories and those facing challenges as the result of famine, malnutrition,insurgency, war, etc.
The theme for this year is ” Together we share our Faith” .
The celebration will take place in all the parishes in Nigeria.
