4 Years of Death Remembrance

Today, we remember and honor the life of Rev. Sr. Dr. Henrietta Ebosiogwe Alokha, SSH (Sisters of the Sacred Hearts), the late principal of Bethlehem Girls High School Abule Ado in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. It has been four years since her untimely passing on March 15, 2020, in a tragic incident where she lost her life while heroically attempting to rescue her students from an explosion and inferno that rocked the area surrounding the school.
We recall the selflessness and bravery exhibited by Rev. Sr. Dr. Henrietta Ebosiogwe Alokha on that fateful day. Despite the imminent danger, she remained steadfast in her duty, ensuring the safety of her students. It is with heavy hearts that we remember the roof of the building falling on her after she had successfully rescued the last student, with the building consumed by fire shortly after.
Today, as we reflect on her life, let us offer our prayers and thoughts for Rev. Sr. Dr. Henrietta Ebosiogwe Alokha. May her soul find eternal rest in the embrace of the Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. Her unwavering dedication and sacrifice will forever be remembered and cherished.
