3. My dear Bishop Nwobi, you are being empowered today. Do not be afraid. Anyi ma na agburu anyi siri ike (our people are tough).
4. If there are still mutual suspicions and distrust hanging over some of us, these should now begin to yield place to mutual love and understanding, mutual trust and respect as well as mutual cooperation.
5. Ntam, you have the capacity and I see it as your first and major duty to once again knit this great presbyterium together.
6. My fellow elders, we are not to accept office in order to make a shameful profit. Some of us are mean, always desiring to make gain with the celebration of the sacraments.
7. St. Peter advices us shepherds not to be petty tyrants that some of us have also become but to be the shepherd and the example to the flock.
8. The respect and obedience to your Bishop shows itself in your loyalty in word and deed. You support his programmes, you speak well of him, you never scandalize people by criticizing him or by mocking him.
9. In the end, we owe scores of gratitude to the Holy Father, Pope Francis for his large and forgiving heart and granting this rather quick transformation from Auxiliary to Substantive Bishop within barely eight (8) months.
10. Unu ekperuole Church a na oghom; there is no more going back. Do not allow anybody, I repeat, do not allow anybody priest or lay faithful to deceive you.
11. Go to the five clans or communities of Ahiara, Ekwerazu, Ezinihitte, Abajah and Oke Ovoro
12. Your success will depend on how you carry everybody along.
13. Division among priests is a scandal and the worst thing that can destroy a presbyterium and by extension a Diocese.
