The Holy Father Pope Francis blessing Monsignor Gerald Mamman Musa in the Vatican
Ahead of his scheduled episcopal installation and installation as the first Bishop of the new Catholic Diocese of Katsina, Northwestern Nigeria, Reverend Monsignor Gerald Mamman Musa is in Roman on retreat. It is an exercise newly appointed bishops undertake before their formal ordination to take charge of their dioceses.
While in Rome, Monsignor Gerald Musa had time with the Holy Father Pope Francis and received the apostolic blessing.
Monsignor Gerald Mamman Musaโs ordination and installation is scheduled to take place in Katsina, the seat of Bishop of the new Diocese on Tuesday 12th December 2023.
