Archbishop Crotty also noted that Msgr. Oleghe lived a fulfilled life, having served the Lord with devotion and commitment throughout his 104 years on earth. “At 104 years, one can say that Msgr. Oleghe has lived a fulfilled life, yet, more than one would have wished that he had lived on, so that the Clegy in Nigeria might continue to hear from him, the stories of the establishment and growth of the church here in Nigeria and to tap from his numerous years of experience,” he noted.

Commending the deceased Chaplain of his Holiness to the mercy of God, the Papal envoy, prayed for his peaceful repose and consolation for the Diocese of Auchi and the entire Catholic Church in Nigeria.”May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
