Dearest friends, there is no doubt that I had already known the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary right from my minor seminary days. However, it was in my Philosophy 2 that I came in contact with the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title: Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
In that my Philosophy 2, I developed serious Vocation Crisis; this made me lost every form of interest in my vocation towards the Catholic Priesthood. It became so serious that I started selling off my books to my fellow Seminarians; who almost suspected nothing. I tried managing the crisis but when it was obvious to me that I needed help, I obtained permission and left for a short break.
At home, I narrated my difficulties to my siblings. Our eldest brother, Mr. JohnCaleb Uchenna Okolie prayed for me; together with his Charismatic brothers but before I went back to the seminary, my elder sister, Mrs. Modesta Elochukwu Okoye gave me a prayer booklet of Our Mother of Perpetual Help and encouraged me to be making my prayers through her.
Immediately I returned to the seminary, my very good friend then, Eugene Ejiofor (Now a priest of Sons of Mary Mother of Mercy) and I embraced the devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We woke up earlier every morning before the rest of the Seminarians and carried out our devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help and then concluded it at a particular spot along the seminary avenue, where we had a street light.
After some time, my crisis disappeared and I regained my usual joy and dedication towards the seminary formation.
Providentially too, within the same time, a grotto of Our Mother of Perpetual Help was erected out of charity, in the seminary where I was studying then by one Mr. Ndubuisi Asogwa. Miraculously too, the grotto was erected at the particular spot where Eugene Ejiofor and I normally ended our prayers through our Mother of Perpetual Help every morning. Till today, the grotto stands there in Seat of Wisdom Major Seminary, Ariam, Umuahia Campus.
To crown it all, on September 26, 2020, it pleased God, to bestow on me a Most Precious Gift; that is, the SACRED PRIESTHOOD in the Holy Roman Catholic Church. Thanks to the ever powerful intercession of our Mother of Perpetual Help๐๐ผ

If yes, then, simply go to any Catholic bookshop and buy any Novena booklet of Our Mother of Perpetual Help and then follow the instructions and go on with the Novena/devotion. Normally, the Novena takes place every month (between 1st – 9th day). The Feast Day comes up every June 27. The Novena before the Feast Day lasts between: June 18 โ June 26 every year.
Therefore, I joyfully share this my testimony and encourage you to always recourse to the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I hope you still have and pray your ROSARY.
