Dearest friends, the Heart of Mary has been fittingly identified as IMMACULATE; which is a level of PURITY that cannot be equalled. This Immaculate Heart of Mary is so CLOSELY UNITED with the Sacred Heart of Jesus such that the two cannot possibly be separated from each other. Thus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary earnestly longs to see our individual hearts united with that of the Sacred Heart also. The above explains the many apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary; wherein she encourages us to come back to Jesus and to always pray for the CONVERSION of sinners. What a concrete expression of LOVE!
Therefore, beloved friends, in this our world where the SINS of the FLESH (Adultery, fornication, masturbation, pornography, lesbianism, gay, etc.) have become widespread, the Immaculate Heart of Mary INVITES us to embrace the virtue of CHASTITYย (Purity) once again. The Holy Virgin assures us that she will always help us, if we strive to emulate her IMMACULATE Heart. The sacrament of CONFESSION is also there to support us in such HOLY ASPIRATION.
Let us not forget these powerful lines of the Catechism of the Catholic Church thus:
CHASTITY includes an apprenticeship in self-mastery which is a training in human freedom. The alternative is clear: either man governs his passions and finds peace, or he lets himself be DOMINATED by them and becomes UNHAPPY…ย (CCC n. 2339).
