Vote Wisely Series: Interest And Commitment

The Presidential and National Assembly elections will hold in two weeks. Nigerians are set for the election on 25th February. Other elections will follow thereafter.

In the next two weeks, I will share unbiased write-ups that will help to prepare the minds of Electorates and Nigerians – in order to vote for the right candidates.

We need the right leaders. We need the right followers too.

Nigeria will be a better Country if we do the right things.
Doing the right things is not as simple as it may sound. It requires interest and commitment. We must develop the interest to do the right things. We must also go the extra mile to invest the right commitment.

Interest and commitment must go hand in hand.
Interest propels the desire to do something, while commitment is going the extra mile to act on the desire.
Therefore, commitment is the action part of interest. Interest without commitment is mere fantasy!

Electorates must develop the interest to build a better Nigeria. They must also go a little further to do the work aspect of it. This is how to achieve our goals as a Nation.

One of the ways to get things done in Nigeria is to participate fully in the electoral process. This is how to activate the interest and commitment for a better Nigeria.

Actions beget the right results. We must think the right way. We must act the right way too.

Understanding the concept of Interest and Commitment will go a long way in preparing the minds of Electorates.

We need a paradigm shift to get things done.

Brian Tracy said, ”Once you start thinking differently, you start acting differently. This thought can’t be truer.
