MY TESTIMONY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Dearest friends, honestly, I was overwhelmed. This experience is, for me, a clear confirmation of, not only the Solemnity of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION but also the efficacy of the Novena to Our MOTHER of PERPETUAL Help.

Just this evening I went down to the grotto of Our Mother of Perpetual Help here in the parish where I am working ( St. Jude’s parish Omaeke, Ehime Mbano, Imo state, Nigeria) to say my Novena prayers for the 8th day. Hmmm! Guess what…?

You can’t believe that after my prayers, I omitted the very prayer for the 8th day. I can’t really explain what made me to omit it.

I was already back to my room and was already removing my soutane when it was just like a whisper to my ears, telling me that I forgot to say the very prayer for the 8th day. Immediately, I flashed back and discovered that truly I omitted the prayer. Without wasting time, I put on my soutane and went back to the grotto to say that particular prayer for the 8th day. As, I was saying the prayer, I was truly overwhelmed. Why?

That very prayer is simply the *CONFIRMATION* of the Solemnity of the *IMMACULATE CONCEPTION,* which we just celebrated today (December 8) and a sincere plea for the grace of PURITY. Just look at these lines from that prayer for the EIGHTH (8th) DAY:

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ โ€œ… Obtain for me, Mother Mary, by thy holy Virginity and by thy IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, that I may be PURE in body and soul…”

I am so happy for this experience and I hope to be sharing it annually.

O Mary conceived without original sin!
Pray for us who have recourse to Thee๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
