Reflections By Rev. Fr. David Okolie

Rev. Fr. David Okolie

Dearest friends, pastors, ministers and evangelists,

As we gradually draw to the close of this beautiful day in Christendom; that is: *‘The Feast of the CONVERSION OF ST. PAUL’*, let us take few minutes to ponder on these powerful lines of *St. John Chrysostom* on this great day:

“… So he (St. Paul) sought dishonour and insults in his preaching of the gospel more readily than WE seek honour. He sought death more than WE seek life, and poverty more than we WE seek riches; and he looked for work to do more than OTHERS look for rest…” (cf. The Office of Readings, Jan. 25).

Indeed, only the LOVE of Christ urged St. Paul on and made him victorious (cf. 2 Cor 5:14). May the same love inflame our hearts in our world today. Amen🙏🏼

Remain blessed🙏🏼
