Dearest friends, on this special day of the Solemnity of the MOST HOLY TRINITY, we wish to reflect on how we can emulate the model traced out for us by the TRINITY.

Before then, it is important to note that the TRINITY is a Mystery. MYSTERY is a TRUTH revealed by God but beyond human understanding. So, a Mystery does not necessarily require human comprehension but it requires an ASSENT of FAITH (cf. CCC n. 237).

The TRINITY is the Mystery of the THREE Persons in ONE God; meaning that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are of the same Divine SUBSTANCE (God) but are of different Divine PERSONS (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).ย The above sounds strange, right? Well, like I said earlier, it is a MYSTERY. However, just know that when we talk about GOD we are referring to God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Because they are of the same SUBSTANCE, they are EQUAL and UNDIVIDED. Thus, the hallmark of the TRINITY is UNITY. We came to know about the Trinity through the Coming of Jesus Christ into this world (i.e the Incarnation), the Descent of the Holy Spirit (i.e the Pentecost) amd the testimony of the Sacred Scriptures: (cf. Gen 1:26, Matt 28:19, Jn 10:38! 14:10-31; 17:21).

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผNow, since we are BAPTISED in the Trinity (cf. Matt 28:19, CCC n. 233), we ought to always live out the life of the Trinity which is characterized by UNITY and LOVE. This should play out concretely in our individual and communal lives. Rectories, Religious Communities, Families, etc. should reflect the LOVE and UNITY that are evident in the Trinity (cf. CCC n. 2205). Thus, a life contrary to the above is a life that is not worthy of a CHRISTIAN.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผAlso, remember to always begin and end your DAY, PRAYERS and ACTIVITIES with the TRINITY (i.e the Sign of the Cross) โ€” โ€˜In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen’ (cf. 2157).

We pray the Blessed Virgin Mary to always support us with her powerful intercession. Amen๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Happy Trinity Sunday and remain blessed!
